Your private guide and vehicle will pick you up at your Hobart accommodation or cruise ship terminal for cruises with 9pm departure or later, for an extended day tour to Tasmania’s east coast.
Your journey will take you out past Sorell to the beginning of the Great Eastern Drive at Orford where you will stop to admire the view of Maria Island. The drive will take you up along the coastline where you will stop at the convict built Spiky Bridge, Spiky Beach and Kates Berry Farm for photo opportunities.
You will then continue onto lunch with 2 options.
1. Devils Corner Cellar Door where you will have the opportunity for lunch and a wine tasting with views looking out at Freycinet National Park and the stunning pink granite Hazards.
2. Freycinet Marine Farm where you can indulge in some of Tasmania’s best seafood, oysters and mussels harvested fresh from their farm daily.
Following lunch, you will take the journey out to Freycinet National Park at Coles Bay where you can take a 2 hour round trip walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout. The walk is considered moderate to hard and if this doesn’t suit, you can visit Cape Tourville, also inside the park to enjoy an easy 20 minute walk (600 metres).
After your walk, you will take a relaxing return drive back to Hobart.
